South Yorkshire Rural Skills (SYRS)
Milecastle Consultancy have won funding to deliver an open Springboard programme in South Yorkshire! We will be working together with LANTRA, the sector skills agency for land based industries, to bring Springboard to women in agriculture, trees and timber and horticulture production, starting in March 2007. This programme is by Milecastle consultancy through the South Yorkshire Rural Skills (SYRS) Scheme with 75% funding from the European Union Objective 1 programme. There is a substantial discount on the price for the programme and women in these businesses are eligible to apply if they pay council tax to Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham or Sheffield local authorities.
